Being a child I dreamed about having a dog, but parents forbade me to get a four-footed friend. I never understood – why? As dog is such a kind, devoted and friendly animal … Now I start to understand my parents. It is very easy to get a dog, but it’s not so easy to look after it like it can seem to a little child. In fact a puppy before reaching one year requires the same care as a baby. The dog needs to be given a lot of time. Therefore my parents forbade me to get a dog. They just didn’t need superfluous troubles. My intolerable character sufficed them!
