		<description>Dear Coraima,

I was born in the Seychelles and after leaving for 10 years to work and study in the United States, I returned in 1989 to set up several businesses in the Seychelles.

Incidentally, I found your blog via Google alerts on Seychelles. It is interesting that you were afraid to swim in our waters. We have some of the cleanest, warmest waters in the world and there are no real dangerous sea creatures around, especially around the coastlines. The only danger is the stone fish (which looks like an old piece of coral), but apart from one known incident in 30 years which was not fatal, there is nothing to worry about. In fact, I would venture to say that you missed out on relaxing even more! Seychelles waters is quite therapeutic. You should even try snorkelling around the coastlines next time and enjoy the underwater life. It will also make you realize that there are no dangerous creatures out there waiting to get you. The sight of your first parrot fish will entice you to swim in our waters forever.

Please feel free to email me if you ever need more information on Seychelles and we look forward to welcoming you back one day.

Kind regards,

Marc Houareau
